Julia wants to savour Indian sweets

Pataudi: After relishing spicy Indian curries and trying her hands at cooking `Dal` `Roti`, Hollywood actress Julia Roberts now wants to sample some native sweets.

The Oscar-winner, who is in India to shoot for `Eat, Pray, Love`, has turned to her film`s unit, which consists of people from Mumbai for advice on famous sweets of the country.

And the unit members have told the actress to savour sweets from different states across the country.

"The unit people discussed with her various sweets which are famous by state. They want her to taste `Kaithal ka Ghewar` and `Jhansi ke pede` among other delicacies," a source told reporters.

Roberts, who landed in the national capital on September 17, drove straight to Pataudi, about 60kms from here and is staying at the Pataudi Palace hotel.

Based on the memoirs of Elizabeth Gilbert, the film is about a New York woman, who leaves everything behind to travel the world in her search of love and peace.

Roberts is in India till the first week of October and plans to mix work with pleasure by touring different places with her three children -- four-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and two-year-old son Henry.

The actress has already shot the first part of the movie in Italy, the spiritual part of the film is being shot in India while the third and final part will be filmed in Indonesia, where Roberts` characters finally finds love.

Produced by Brad Pitt`s company, the film is being directed by Ryan Murphy and also stars Oscar-winner Javier Bardem, Richard Jenkins and Billy Crudup.
