Spicy stuffed green chillies

A savory dish made from green chillies to tantalize your palate. Can be used as an interesting side dish or even starter.

Ingredients:

200 gms green chillies( long ones of medium thickness)
½ cup mustard paste
2 tsp garlic paste
2 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt to taste
1 cup mustard oil

Procedure:

Mix together all the spices, add salt and saute in 1 tsp oil till the mixture becomes brown. Slit the chillies lengthwise and scoop the material out. Wash them properly if you are an absolute no-no for a very hot dish. Now fill the slits with the spice mixture. Deep fry in mustard oil on very low flame over a long period so that the filling inside also gets properly cooked. Serve hot or cold with garlic or mustard sauce.
