Recipe: Moong Daal Soup

Call it soup, call it daal or vegetable, this recipe is full of health and nutrition and can be relished by the ailing, the fitness freaks and also by the lovers of taste.

Ingredients:

2 cups water
1 chopped tomato
1 chopped potato
1 chopped onion
1 tsp chopped garlic
1 tsp chopped ginger
2 each cloves, cinnamon sticks, cardamoms
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 green chilly
1 tsp ghee
1 chopped potato
½ cup soaked moong daal
½ cup peas
½ cup chopped spinach
Salt to taste

Procedure:

Heat ghee in a pan. Add green chilly, garam masala, and all other ingredients eccept water and cook till all moisture from the mixture dries up. Now add water and pressure cook for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
