A special corn dish from the house of Mughals-try out and enjoy the aromatic bliss!
Ingredients: 5 tender corn cobs
2 medium sized onions
2’’ piece ginger
6 flakes garlic
5 tsp ghee
1 cup milk
2 bay leaves
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp ground cumin seeds
½ tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
¾ cups curd
1 tomato sliced
½ cup cream
25 gms fried cashew nuts
25 gms raisins
2 tsp chopped coriander leaves
Procedure:
Remove corn from cobs. Grind onion, ginger and garlic to a paste. Heat the ghee and fry the paste. Now add corn, bay leaves, garam masala, cumin, turmeric and salt. Mix in the curd and tomato and cook till dry. Add milk and continue cooking till the corn is tender. Put the cream, simmer for a while and remove from fire. Garnish with nuts, resins and fresh coriander leaves.
