Ajwain chaklis are very easy to make. Try them out this Diwali.
Ingredients:
2 and a half cups rice flour
1 and a half cup gram flour
1 tablespoon ajwain
2 and a half tsp salt
1 tsp red chilly powder
1/2 tsp heeng (asfoetida)
Oil
Water
Procedure:Mix the rice and gram flour thoroughly. Then add salt, red chilly powder, heeng and ajwain and mix all the ingredients well.
Now add some oil and lightly mix it with your hands. Then add water and make a moderately stiff dough.
Heat some oil in a kadhai for frying.
Now use a chakli maker to make chaklis on a greasy plate and carefully put each one of them into the kadhai for frying.
Fry until crisp and remove from the flame.
