Spicy cottage cheese salad

Sometimes you can innovate without being elaborate. Try out this special salad at home and enjoy the delight of simplicity and brevity.

Ingredients :

200 gms cottage cheese cut in small thin cubes
4 chopped green chillies
2 tsp pepper powder
1 peeled onion
1 tomato
3 tsp ginger cut in long thin shreds
1 tsp coriander leaves finely chopped
3 tsp vegetable oil
Salt to taste
1 tsp cream (optional)

Procedure:

Insert knife in the middle of onion and heat it on naked flame. Rotate it clockwise and anti clockwise so that it is done well on all sides. Do the same with tomato. Now heat oil in a pan. Add chillies, ginger and sauté for 5 minutes.

Add cottage cheese and cook till they become brown on edges but retain their softness. Now put coriander leaves, salt, pepper and cook for another 5 minutes. Cut the onion, tomato into pieces and mix in the cottage cheese. Pour cream, toss and serve hot with ketchup
