Los Angeles: `Panic Room` star Jodie Foster is all set to have a stint behind the camera for Netflix`s original series `House of Cards`.
The 50-year-old Academy Award-winning actress is said to have signed up to direct one of the episode for the political drama`s season 2, reported Aceshowbiz.
Foster`s previous directorial stints include 2011`s film `The Beaver` starring Mel Gibson and an episode of Netflix`s `Orange Is the New Black`.
As for her on-screen roles, she recently starred alongside Matt Damon in Neill Blomkamp`s sci-fi movie `Elysium`.
The first season of `House of Cards` starring Kevin Spacey garnered critical acclaims.
