Russell Brand wants to work in 'Doctor Who'

London: Actor-comedian Russell Brand says he wants to work in ‘Doctor Who’, a science fiction TV programme produced by BBC.

According to the reports, Brand wants to replace actor Matt Smith who used to play Time Lord `Doctor` in the show. Smith has reportedly quit the show.

"I’d be like a Tom Baker one, like a sort of long scarf, flouncy, wistful, quoting occasional poems, kicking Cybermen in the nuts. I would just travel through time pinching people’s arses. Carry on up the wormhole," dailystar.co.uk quoted Brand as saying.
