Mumbai: Director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, who is launching Anil Kapoor`s son Harshvardhan with `Mirza Sahiba`, says he chose the youngster as he fits the bill of an intensive lover and added that he is undergoing training right now.
"Harshvardhan is training for the film. There`s one year of preparation before he comes in front of the camera," Mehra said.
The movie is a musical penned by Gulzar, and it is based on a popular folklore. Leading lady for the film is yet to be locked.
Ask how Harshvardhan fits the role, Mehra said: "He has the intensity of a lover and he has the seriousness to play the role. He is a lovely performer."
