London: Jim Carrey has revealed that he has decided to withdraw his support for ` Kick-Ass 2` in the wake of the Sandy Hook massacre.
Carrey tweeted on Sunday saying that he can`t stand behind the violence in his upcoming movie, the BBC reported.
The 51-year-old apologised to people involved with the film, saying that he is not ashamed of his decision.
He said that recent events have caused a change in his heart.
