Mumbai: Ignoring ‘Katrina Kaif’s look-alike’ tag, actress Zarine Khan managed to make an extremely promising Bollywood debut with the Salman Khan-starrer ‘Veer’ on her own. But now the actress has revealed that she would completely ignore the camera while shooting for the film, as she would get too conscious otherwise.
Talking to a news daily about her experiences of shooting for ‘Veer’, Zarine said that she wasn’t nervous at all while giving her first shot. Well, ironically, that wasn’t because she had already mastered her act!
Zarine says, “In the first shot (of ‘Veer’), I had to do a step of ballroom dance. Once the director said action we went ahead with the shot. Later the director came and told me that I was pretty confident for a newcomer. But the fact was that I didn’t even see where the camera was placed. I just did what the choreographer had asked me to. Looking back, I think it was good that I didn’t know where the camera was or I would have been very conscious.”
Well, we’re sure Zarine will get used to the camera very soon. Hope Salman’s there for help, just in case!
