Subhash Ghai’s ‘Kaanchi’ to release April 25

Mumbai: Filmmaker Subhash Ghai says his `Kaanchi`, his “most laborious film", will hit the screens April 25.

“Finally, the shoot of my most laborious film ‘Kaanchi’ is over and all set to release April 25 and what`s best is I’m excited about the film,” Ghai tweeted Thursday.

“First sound of music of `Kaanchi’ is gonna be in public tonight (Thursday) at Mirchi music awards with a music piece resounding `Kaanchi re kaanchi re’,” he further posted on Twitter.

Starring Kartik Tiwari and Mishti in the lead roles, the musical drama is a tale of a girl who dares to fight against corruption.
