London: Cameron Diaz is feeling “hurt and betrayed” after breaking up with baseball player boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, a friend of the actress has revealed.
“They`ve broken up. (Cameron is) hurt and betrayed, because she tried so hard to please him. She went overboard,” a newspaper quoted a source as saying.
The couple first started dating last year and the 38-year-old actress confirmed that she was seeing the New York Yankees star in an interview with Britain`s Elle magazine.
``Yes, Alex is my boyfriend. It`s not a secret any more,`` she had said.
The couple had been spending an increased amount of time together, with the actress apparently even moving to Miami to be closer to the 35-year-old.
Cameron is even said to have met the baseball slugger`s daughters Natasha, six, and Ella, three.
