They are the young guns of Bollywood. Recent skirmishes did dampen their camaraderie, but the two clearly seem to have come of age. They are like the Big Daddy’s of Bollywood…been here done that sorts, forming an altogether different league. Sanju and Salman have been friends for long, even though it’s hard to believe that the two were never on good terms at the beginning of their career.

Sanjay blamed Salman for creating rumours of link-ups with his co-stars at the time of ‘Khalnayak’. However, Sanjay’s theory proved wrong after he got to know that Salman was a big hearted person and he would never indulge in such cheap maligning acts.

Later, maybe their similar brush with the law helped them in cementing their friendship.

And, even as news of recent clashes between the two splashed in papers recently, the two are such kind of friends who can go to any extend to support each other at times of extreme adversity.

Ritesh Deshmukh-Boman Irani

The two are one of a kind. Both are extremely amusing when they are in their element. Ritesh shares great vibes with Boman and their chemistry rocks every time they come to host an event. The two have given some block-buster comedy capers like ‘Housefull’ and ‘Heyy Baby’.

Ajay Devgn-Rohit Shetty

Next on our list of great friends of Bollywood are Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty. The actor-director duo create golmaal mixed with some heavy action stuff, much to the merriment of the audience.

There must be very few associations in the film industry which have stood the test of time and Ajay-Rohit’s friendship is one of them. The latter started out as an assistant director in ‘Phool Aur Kaante’ (1991) with which Ajay Devgn made his acting debut. After that film, Rohit worked as assistant/associate director in other Ajay Devgn starrers like ‘Suhaag’, ‘Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha’, ‘Hindustan Ki Kasam’ and ‘Raju Chacha’.

Rohit’s friendship with Ajay strengthened after he debuted as director with ‘Zameen’ casting Ajay in the lead.

John Abraham-Abhishek Bachchan

Abhishek and John became the best of buddies after shooting together for ‘Dostana’. Both took the whole world for a ride as they played a gay couple in the flick. After the success of ‘Dostana’, the two are in talks about the sequel which is being eagerly awaited by the fans.

Akshay Kumar-Sajid Khan

Bollywood khiladi Akshay Kumar shares great camaraderie with funny man Sajid Khan. The two have always been very vocal about their friendship. Friend Akshay played an important role in making Sajid’s directorial debut ‘Heyy Baby’ a hit at the Box Office.
