The trend (if we may say so) of Khans saying ‘I do’ to Hindu women is not new, well, at least not in Bollywood. From industry veterans like Shah Rukh Khan to the younger lot like Imran Khan, many have taken home a Hindu bride and in a way, have helped in narrowing the religious divide that prevails in the nation. As Bollywood’s heartthrob Kareena Kapoor readies herself to walk the aisle for beau Saif Ali Khan, we do a recap of eight Hindu-Muslim star marriages that the Hindi film world has been a spectator to till date.
