Elijah Wood feels marijuana has become a natural part of people’s lives

Melbourne: ‘Lord of the Rings’ star Elijah Wood has said that he’s not against marijuana aficionados, even though he is not one himself.

According to the New York Post, Wood said in the new issue of High Times that weed is everywhere these days in Hollywood, and he has no problem with it.

“It’s gotten to the point where it just seems a natural part of people’s lives,” the Herald Sun quoted the actor as telling the magazine, which bills itself as “the voice of the marijuana community”.

“It’s certainly not taboo; I know a number of people who have medical cards. People feel very free talking about it,” he stated.

But Wood, 30, said that weed does not mix so well with him.


“I’m not really much of a pot smoker, it never really sat well with me ... I’ve always wished I could achieve that comfort and tolerance, but I have no tolerance for it whatsoever,” the star added.
