Washington: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are going through "irreparable tensions" in their relationship, a new book has alleged.
Investigative journalist Ian Halperin made the claim in new tome ‘Brangelina Exposed’, which will hit the shelves later this year.
According to a press release, the writer seeks to determine how the couple "have successfully manipulated the public into believing a glamorous fairytale that bears little resemblance to the reality of the pair`s life together".
"Jolie`s personal lifestyle choices are not only affecting her growing family but causing serious and potentially irreparable tensions with Pitt," Us magazine quoted the release as saying.
The author of bestseller ‘Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson’ further devotes pages to Pitt`s failed marriage with Jennifer Aniston and the "real reason" for their infamous break up.
Halperin then moves into Jolie`s dark past, reporting "new details of her volatile relationship with and estrangement from her father Jon Voight, her struggles with suicidal impulses, her heroin use, her sexual exploits and her remarkable rise to become an Oscar-winning actress."
“The key figure behind the scenes who orchestrated her makeover into a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador" is also introduced later.
