London: `My Chemical Romance` front man Gerard Way is bouncing back from the group`s recent split by launching a new graphic novel based on the band`s final album.
`Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys` will be released in June this year, reported Daily Star.
A preview will be available at the Forbidden Planet comic book store on Record Store Day in May.
Way co-wrote the story for the novel.
His band recently split after 12 years together. The band, formed in 2001 and released four albums over the years. The last record, `Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys`, hit stores in 2010.
