Mumbai: Sonakshi Sinha has confirmed that she is playing female lead in the Hindi remake of Tamil hit `Thuppakki`. She started shooting for the project Thursday.
"Because I only talk about a film AFTER I`ve signed it, it`s my pleasure to share with you all that we started shooting the `Thuppakki` remake today. Looking forward to working with this team," Sonakshi tweeted Thursday.
In `Thuppakki`, Sonakshi will once again feature with Akshay Kumar, with whom she has done films like `Rowdy Rathore` and `Joker`.
