This is a very simple and healthy recipe that can be made during holidays and celebrations without much fuss and effort.
Ingredients: 1 cup long grained basmati rice
6 chopped green chillies
3 tsp butter
1 tsp lemon juice
3 tsp cream
Salt to taste
½ cup chopped carrots
2 tsp chopped garlic
Procedure: Boil rice with lemon juice and salt. Remove from fire and drain excess water.
Heat butter in a pan. Reduce the flame and add garlic, green chillies, carrots and cream.
Cook for a minute till the cream is absorbed but the veggies do not change colour. Add to the rice and mix well. Serve hot with daal or raita.
