Happy Birthday Dilip Saab!

Muhammad Yusuf Khan aka Dilip Kumar is one of the greatest actors of Indian cinema. Also known as the ‘Tragedy King’, together with Raj Kapoor and Dev Anand, Dilip Kumar completes the holy triumvirate of Hindi cinema, which ruled the 50s and 60s cinema. If ‘Naya Daur’ represented the ethos of Nehruvian era, ‘Devdas’ was the birth of tragic hero and ‘Mughal-E-Azam’ brought alive the long-lost Mughal era. A highly celebrated actor, Dilip Kumar was conferred with Padma Bhushan (1991), Dadasaheb Phalke Award (1994) and Pakistan’s highest civilian award Nishan-e-Pakistan (1997).
