Bollywood has produced a number of talented handsome hunks who have wooed audiences for ages. From Feroz Khan to Dharmendra, from Vinod Khanna to Rajesh Khanna and from Akshay Kumar to Hrithik Roshan, Hindi cinema has been home to men who ooze sexuality. After the Khan trinity — Aamir, Salman and Shah Rukh — Ranbir from Hindi cinema’s first family is already on the threshold of becoming the next superstar. While many have already crowned him as the latest industry heavyweight, here’s taking a quick glance at some of the newest kids on the block who look incredibly promising:

Ranveer Singh

After an impressive debut as a street-smart boy in Yash Raj Films’ ‘Band Baaja Baraat’, followed by a conman’s role in ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’, Ranveer Singh went on to deliver a performance of a lifetime in Vikramditya Motwane’s ‘Lootera’. The hunk of an actor, who had earlier delivered happy-go-lucky characters, left one and all mesmerized as Varun in the period film set in Bengal of 1950s.

The dashing actor has ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ambitious project ‘Ram Leela’ in his kitty and he will also be seen in Yash Raj’s ‘Gunday’ alongside Arjun Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra.

Arjun Kapoor

Son of producer Boney Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor stole the show with his debut film ‘Ishaqzaade’ garnering rave reviews. Hailing from a filmi family, Arjun has acting in his genes. He has followed in the footsteps of his uncle Anil Kapoor, who has wowed audiences for over three decades now. Arjun was seen in multi-starrer ‘Aurangzeb’. His next- ‘Gunday’ is slated to release early next year and will also play the role of a Punjabi boy in Chetan Bhagat’s adaptation of ‘2 States’.

Sidharth Malhotra

Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’ introduced the very talented Sidharth Malhotra. Despite making a debut along with two other newcomers, Sidharth did well to make his presence felt. He will be next seen in ‘Hasee toh Phasee’ alongside Parineeti Chopra. The young actor will also be seen portraying a negative character in ‘Mohit Suri’s ‘The Villian’, which is perhaps a brave move so early in his career.

Varun Dhawan

Son of director David Dhawan, Varun announced his arrival in the world of films with Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’. The very dashing actor has several endorsement deals in his kitty and has become hugely popular among college-goers. The actor has also bagged Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Main Tera Hero’ where he would be paired opposite Nargis Fakhri and Ileana D’Cruz.

Sushant Singh Rajput

After becoming a household name with Zee TV’s ‘Pavitra Rishta’, Sushant Singh Rajput took a big leap and entered the world of celluloid with ‘Kai Po Che!’. The film, which was Abhishek Kapoor’s adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s ‘The 3 Mistakes of My Life’ saw the emergence of a new star. Sushant will be seen in Yash Raj Films’ ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’, opposite Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor. He has also bagged a role in Aamir Khan’s ‘Peekay’. Filmmaker Dibakar Bannerjee has roped in Sushant to essay the role of Byomkesh Bakshi in his next.
