Brazilian striker Neymar played yet another pivotal role for his side, as Brazil defeated Cameroon 4-1 to top their group and advance into Round of 16. In an exclusive chat with Aditi Tyagi of Zee Media, former Indian skipper Baichung Bhutia analysed the game and said that the striker is a top contender for prestigious Golden Boot award.

Excerpts from the conversation:

Brazil has qualified for Round of 16. What do you have to say about their form?

The way they played yesterday, we got to see Neymar`s magic again. Luck has been favouring them as well. But there is no doubt that Brazil have been brilliant.

Neymar played brilliantly yesterday. It was Brazil`s 100th World Cup match and he missed a hat-trick by a whisker.

When you play 100 World Cup matches, it shows what sort of consistency a team has. It was a fantastic moment for Neymar to score two goals in Brazil`s 100th match.

Do you think Neymar is now the biggest contender for Golden Boot?

He has scored four foals in three matches. But he will face a lot of competition from Robin Van Persie and Arjen Robben who have scored three goals each. To win the golden boot, he will have to be very consistent but the way he has performed so far, he is the favourite to win the golden boot this year.

The stars like Messi, Ronaldo and Neymar have all delivered for the fans. Do you think Brazil are now peaking at the right time?

After watching yesterday`s match, I feel Brazil are peaking at the right time. Scoring four goals against Cameroon isn`t easy. But Cameroon`s defence was very weak against Brazil. Neymar`s first two goals were scored easily. But such a big win will boost Brazil`s confidence.

Cameroon have been involved in lot of controversies this year. One of their players was shown the red card for a headbutt earlier while Neymar was pushed by one of their players yesterday.

Yes Cameroon have been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons in this World Cup. There has been no discipline shown by them. On the field they lacked any sort of rhythm and created a lot of controversies off the field.
