Group F Analysis

It will be an easy passage into the knock-outs for Argentina. With a star-studded attacking line-up which has the likes of Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, Gonzalo Higuan and Angel di Maria and the the crafty midfield trio of Maxi Rodriguez, Fernando Gago and of course Javier Mascherano, in a new role, can be lethal and provide a cover to otherwise hazy looking defense. But again the experience of Pablo Zabaleta, Martin Demichelis and Ezequiel Garay can come handy in tight matches.
Giving Alenjandro Sabella a real test, at least through the tactical front will be Nigeria. The talent of Ahmed Musa, John Obi Mikel and Victor Moses, combined with astute planning from Stephen Keshi can be hand-full for any side on their day.
Fighting the Super Eagles for the second spot will be World Cup debutantes, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The new European team exceeded all expectations and scored in abundance during the qualification round. Their attacking prowess led by Edin Dzeko and Vedad Ibisevic were supported by a robust midfield duo of Miralem Pjanic and Zvjezdan Misimovic. Yes, they have got the ever impressive Asmir Begovic too, guarding the goal-post.
The fourth team, Iran from Asia, has got little to complain about, in fact, little to talk about. Win a match, steal a shock. That will be what Carlos Queiroz would be expecting from his squad.
