Group H Analysis

Belgium is the team of this World Cup. They have a well balanced squad, brimming with confidence thanks to the exposure in the very competitive European leagues. More so, Marc Wilcots is never shy from taking chances. In fact, with the squad strength, the Red Devils will be considered one of the favourites.
Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois, Romelu Lukaku, Vincent Kompany, and Kevin de Bruyne – they are already established stars. And it will be a huge setback in their progress if they fail to top the group.
The fight for the second place will be between two hard-working teams in Russia and South Korea. There is no clear winner in this fight. But the presence of youthful talented players in the Korean ranks – like Son Heung-Min, Kim Bo-Kyung and Ki Sung-Yueng – may well tilt the favour towards the Asian team. But again, the Russian side under Fabio Capello has played some exceptional football during the qualifying stage.
Despite being one of the unheralded sides of the tournament, Algeria are truly capable of shocking bigger teams, due to their history. But this time, the occasion may well overwhelm Vahid Halilhodzic`s squad.
